Martin W. Buschle
Mr. Buschle specializes in liability
defense litigation with an emphasis in automobile negligence,
premises liability, insurance fraud, product liability,
medical malpractice, and general negligence defense.
During his career, Mr. Buschle has successfully tried
numerous jury and non-jury cases. In addition, he has
had success arguing appeals in the State and Federal
courts. Mr. Buschle’s aggressive, yet cost effective
approach to litigation has resulted in a winning court
room record, successful out-of-court settlements, dismissals
and successful mediation and arbitration results.
Mr.
Buschle is a 1983 graduate of the Villanova University
Law School in Villanova, Pennsylvania. He is licensed
to practice in every court in the State of Michigan,
the United States District Court for the Western District
of Michigan, and the United States 6th Circuit Court
of Appeals. In addition, he is licensed to practice in
the Pennsylvania State Courts, as well as the United
States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
He received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree,
Cum Laude, from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo,
Michigan in 1980.
After graduating from the Villanova
University School of Law, Mr. Buschle joined the Bucks
County District Attorney’s Office in Doylestown, Pennsylvania
as an Assistant District Attorney. Within two years he
advanced to the position of Deputy District Attorney
with primary responsibility for the office’s Drug Task
Force. While working in the District Attorney’s office,
Mr. Buschle had the opportunity to try well over 100
criminal cases.
Mr. Buschle is a member of the Michigan
Defense Trial Counsel, Inc.; the Association of Defense
Trial Counsel; the Michigan Bar Association, Negligence
Section; American Bar Association, Negligence Section;
Grand Rapids Bar Association and Who’s Who in American
Law.
Mr. Buschle serves as a case evaluator
in Kent, Berrien, Muskegon and Kalamazoo Counties. Mr.
Buschle has served as a Junior Achievement volunteer
instructor in the East Grand Rapids Public Schools. He
was a special project coordinator and secretary of the
Cascadia Neighborhood Association. He served as a fund
raiser for the Habitat For Humanity of Kent County and
is currently a member of the Advisory Board for the University
of Michigan Club of Grand Rapids.
