"I graduated with honors from Saint Catherine of Siena Kindergarten in Chicago, Illinois on June 12, 1942 and it's been pretty much down hill ever since..."

However, despite Ed's humorous quote, Ed went on to obtain his Bachelor of the Arts degree from the University of Michigan in 1959 and his Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School in 1962.

Since graduation from law school, Ed is a highly respected business and tax lawyer and has been included on the directory of Best Lawyers in America every year since its publication. Ed has served as an officer of the Grand Rapids Bar Association and a member of the Taxation Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
