Terrence L. Groesser specializes in the issues of work place safety, injury and disability law. For over 30 years his practice has included workers disability compensation law, social security disability issues, MIOSHA and OSHA concerns and the relationship of the Americans With Disabilities Act and the FMLA laws to these questions. Terry advises employers on work place safety and drafts emergency action plans, safety handbooks, crisis management responses and policies regarding all aspects of the prevention and resolution of work place health and injury claims.
He is originally from Traverse City and practices throughout western lower Michigan. Terry has authored numerous articles and chapters on work place disability, health and safety matters as well as appearing as a frequent speaker on these matters.
He served several years as a special attorney general for the state of Michigan in workers disability compensation cases. He has twice been elected chair of the Grand Rapids Bar Association section on Workers Compensation practice. He has held a number of offices within the West Michigan Conference of the United Methodist Church.
