About Peter

What type of clients do you serve?

I serve as an attorney and trusted adviser to businesses and business owners. I help navigate organizations through sophisticated transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and commercial financing. I also work with affordable housing developers seeking Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) conversions, regulatory issues associated with tax-exempt entities and tax planning.

With several years of transactional experience, I regularly serve as special counsel for our clients, issuing validity, enforceability and organizational opinions for Michigan corporations, LLCs, and other entities.

I routinely assist clients with the development and implementation of their succession plans, corporate governance, ownership structure, and dispute resolutions.

What skills help you advise the client and achieve the best results or outcomes?

In addition to being a corporate attorney, I am also a Certified Public Accountant. This unique background allows me to gain a better understanding of our client’s needs.  Many times, each possible outcome presents its own unique challenges. I am able to help clients identify and quantify those challenges, develop the best strategy, and implement solutions.

What has been the most exciting news you have had to deliver to a client?

It is always exciting to inform our clients that our results beat their expectations.
