William M. Newman
Bill graduated magna cum laude from Oakland University 1967, earning a B.A. degree. He received his law degree, magna cum laude, from Wayne State University in 1970, where he was also the Editor of the Wayne Law Review. Bill’s litigation practice includes trials in various state and federal courts for medical malpractice defense. He is also experienced in various forms of alternative dispute resolution, including facilitative mediation and arbitration. Bill is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and various sections, and has served on State Bar committees. He is a member of the Federal Bar Association of Western Michigan and is a member of the American Bar Association.
