Mark S. Pendery
Mark is a shareholder at Rhoades
McKee and concentrates his practice on federal and state
litigation with emphasis on complex tax audits, financial
litigation and significant collection matters. He is
admitted to the Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky Bars. Mark
received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University
of Cincinnati in 1980 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from
Indiana University in 1983.
Prior to joining Rhoades
McKee, Mark simultaneously worked as a litigation attorney
and supervisor for the United States Department of Treasury,
Internal Revenue Service, and was a Special Assistant
United States Attorney for the Department of Justice.
He handled several sophisticated tax litigation matters,
as well as overseeing the federal criminal tax program
in the State of Michigan. Mark is admitted to the United
States Tax Court, The United States District Court for
the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the
United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Mark frequently speaks at tax seminars and CPE’s for
attorneys and accountants.
Since joining Rhoades McKee,
Mark has specialized in complex and sophisticated civil
and criminal litigation matters in both state and federal
court. Mark has also represented large and medium size
corporations in financial litigation matters that concluded
in extremely successful results for the clients.
