Now a resident of West Michigan for 28 years, she is a shareholder in the firm, chairs the firm's Medical Malpractice Defense practice group and is a member of the Health Care practice group.  In addition to defending medical providers against claims of professional malpractice, Laurie Strong is regularly sought out by both hospitals and individuals for risk management counsel, licensing defense, medical device litigation, and general liability and insurance coverage disputes.

She is admitted to practice in all Michigan Courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the United States District Court for both the Western and Eastern Districts.
