According to the website, The Mary Free Bed Foundation secures resources to support the hospital’s mission of restoring hope and freedom through rehabilitation. The staff and services are designed to return people to the most function, the most ability and the most independence after an injury.
Future events the committee will serve to support include:
- May 18 Mary Evening in East at Olive’s – East Grand Rapids
- June 6 Golf Outing for Wheelchair Sports – Thousand Oaks Golf Club
- June 16 Dave Mehney/John Canepa Health Care Charity Dinner – Thousand Oaks Golf Club
Recently, his wife suffered serious catastrophic injuries resulting in quadruple amputation requiring months of intense rehabilitation at the Mary Free Bed Hospital. “The physical care and emotional encouragement that she received restored her independence beyond our expectations. We are forever grateful. We have experienced their mission first hand and my effort to engage others will ensure that this care is provided to those in need,” stated Buschle.
As a shareholder with Rhoades McKee, Buschle’s legal practice spans areas of probate litigation including wills and trusts disputes, serious personal injury cases, as well as insurance defense. He is a graduate of Western Michigan University and received his law degree from Villanova University Law School.
