Douglas P. Vanden Berge

Douglas P. Vanden Berge graduated from Calvin College in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, with a major in Business Economics. He graduated from Willamette University College of Law in 1988, where he was a published author on the Law Review.

Mr. Vanden Berge then served a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Hugh W. Brenneman, Jr. in the Western District of Michigan. He joined Rhoades McKee in 1989, and became a shareholder in 1995. Mr. Vanden Berge has a general litigation practice with special emphasis in defending medical and legal malpractice cases.

He regularly serves as lead counsel in complex litigation and has argued on numerous occasions in the Michigan appellate courts. Mr. Vanden Berge has been a Board Member of Michigan Defense Trial Counsel since 1997.
