Rhoades McKee Introduces Elaine Mohre as Chief Operating Officer

Rhoades McKee, a full-service law firm serving West Michigan for over 65 years, is pleased to announce the appointment of Elaine Mohre as its next Chief Operating Officer, effective June 1, 2025.

Elaine Mohre succeeds Susan Kowalski, who is retiring after three years of dedicated service to the firm. As COO, Mohre will lead the firm’s day-to-day administrative and operational functions, working closely with firm leadership to implement strategic initiatives that support continued growth, innovation, and client service excellence.

Mohre brings over 12 years of experience with Rhoades McKee to her new role. Since joining the firm in 2013, she has steadily advanced through a variety of roles, beginning as a Marketing Assistant and ultimately serving as Marketing and Operations Manager. Throughout her tenure, Mohre has demonstrated an exceptional ability to align strategic vision with operational execution, strengthen internal collaboration, and enhance the firm’s presence and relationships within the West Michigan community.

In her role as COO, Mohre will oversee the firm’s operational departments, including human resources, finance, technology, marketing, and facilities, while continuing to build strong connections across the firm and within the community.
