Rhoades McKee is saddened to share that former partner Peter Titta passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 89.
A native of Three Rivers, Michigan, Peter graduated from Michigan State University and the University of Michigan Law School before beginning his legal career as a named partner at Mohney, Goodrich and Titta. In 1987, the firm merged with Rhoades McKee and Boer, marking a significant moment in the firm’s history and expansion. Now, more than 65 years since its founding, Rhoades McKee continues to grow, offering more than 25 practice specialties across Grand Rapids, Hastings, and Holland.
“Peter was an important part of Rhoades McKee’s story,” said Tony Pearson, President of the Rhoades McKee Executive Committee. “For decades, clients relied on him not only for his expertise but for his genuine concern for their well-being. He was known for putting clients first and helping them feel confident and supported through every step of the legal process. We are grateful for the lasting impact he made.”
Peter practiced law in the Grand Rapids area for over 40 years, specializing in real estate and estate planning. Clients appreciated his thoughtful counsel and his unwavering commitment to putting their interests at the center of every decision.
