Grand Rapids, Michigan – June 2026 – Rhoades McKee is pleased to welcome Zac DeVries, Hannah Grosse, Rylea Mougrabi, and Anastasia VanderPloeg as part of the firm’s 2026 Summer Associate Program. The program offers law students a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience and insight into the legal profession while working alongside the firm’s attorneys.
Throughout the summer, Zac, Hannah, Rylea, and Anastasia will participate in a variety of substantive legal projects across more than 25 practice areas. They will also have the opportunity to observe client meetings, mediations, depositions, hearings, and trials to provide a comprehensive view of legal practice in a full-service firm setting.
Zac DeVries
Zac DeVries is currently pursuing his Juris Doctor at Michigan State University College of Law, where he is a Full Tuition Scholarship recipient. He holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Accounting from Calvin University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Before joining Rhoades McKee, Zac worked as an Audit Senior Associate with BDO USA and served as a Legal Intern with Willis Law, where he supported legal research, drafting, and client matters across a range of practice areas.
Hannah Grosse
Hannah Grosse recently completed her first year at Michigan State University College of Law, where she is a Full Tuition Academic Scholar. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, cum laude, from Boston University.
Prior to joining Rhoades McKee, Hannah gained legal experience as a Legal Intern with Greater Boston Legal Services and Powell Spencer & Partners in London, where she supported attorneys with research, drafting, and case analysis.
Rylea Mougrabi
Rylea Mougrabi is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at William & Mary Law School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Spanish, summa cum laude, from Adrian College.
Before joining the firm, Rylea completed several legal internships with courts and prosecutor’s offices, including the Hampton Circuit Court, Norfolk Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, and Judge Colombell of the Eastern District of VA, where she supported legal research, drafting, and courtroom preparation.
Anastasia VanderPloeg
Anastasia VanderPloeg is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at the University of Notre Dame Law School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics and French, magna cum laude, from Calvin University.
Prior to joining Rhoades McKee, Anastasia gained experience in legislative and community-focused roles, including serving as a Legislative Aide with the Michigan House of Representatives and working with PRC of Grand Rapids on community education initiatives.
