About Patrick

What type of clients do you serve?

I counsel and defend health care professionals and institutions in complex medical malpractice actions. I have the great fortune of serving physicians, nurses, physicians assistants, and other professionals in almost every medical specialty. Working with and learning from these clients as we defend a case together has and will always be one of the great joys of my practice.

What is the most important advice that you have given a client?

The most important advice I give clients is, “Call me.” It sounds simple but, I can not begin to explain the importance of this little piece of advice. Malpractice cases are complex in terms of the medical and legal issues involved. They can also be emotionally trying for a healthcare provider who takes pride in providing the best of care to his patients. I understand both the issues and the emotions and want my clients to know what to expect each step of the way. Plus, a solid defense must be crafted as a team. Both are possible with consistent communication.

What has been the most exciting news you have had to deliver to a client?

There is no better news to deliver to a client than, “Your case has been dismissed!” Nothing else comes close.
