(August 18, 2016) The law firm of Rhoades McKee welcomes Hal Ostrow as shareholder and member of the Business Practice Group.

Ostrow concentrates his practice as counsel to numerous small and medium sized businesses, with an emphasis on software and design professionals. On a day to day basis, he assists clients in navigating matters ranging from formation to angel and venture capital funding to interaction with third parties to mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining the firm, Ostrow founded and operated The Ostrow Law Firm PLC.  “By joining Rhoades McKee, I am able to offer a full-service practice to my clients.  In addition to business services, I will work alongside experienced professionals in the areas of litigation, family law and estate planning, real estate and tax, and business valuation, among others,” stated Ostrow.

A member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan, he has served on the State Bar of Michigan’s Building a 21st Century Practice Committee, Judicial Qualifications Committee, and Law and the Media Committee, and he is a Michigan State Bar Foundation Fellow.  Ostrow engages in the West Michigan community as a Vice President and Board Member of the Michigan Israel Business Bridge, a Member of National and Michigan Councils of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, and PAC Board Member of the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce.

He received his B.A. from Wittenberg University and his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.
