Stephanie Myott-Beebe was elected to serve a three-year term as a Trustee for the Grand Rapids Bar Association at the annual meeting held on May 16, 2019. As one of the nine Trustees, she will direct and manage the affairs of the Grand Rapids Bar Association in their mission to promote justice, professional excellence, and respect for the law; foster dignity and integrity of the profession; provide law-related services to the community; and serve the needs of the members.
Myott-Beebe, who is a shareholder with Rhoades McKee, concentrates her practice in estate planning and trust administration. She routinely assists clients with creating wills and trusts, executing powers of attorney and patient advocate designations, establishing conservatorships and guardianships, and administering estates and trusts. Having earned the respect of her peers, she frequently lectures on elder care, estate planning essentials, and incorporating estate planning into building financial success.
Prior to being named a Trustee, Myott-Beebe has been actively engaged in the Grand Rapids Bar Association as a 3Rs Program Instructor and Constitution Day Volunteer. She also serves on the Professional Advisory Committee at Porter Hills Foundation.
Myott-Beebe is a member of the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce as well as the State Bar of Michigan.
She holds a Certificate of Completion in the areas Probate and Estate Planning issued by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan. She earned her undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University Honors College and her law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law.
