Terry L. Zabel

Terry is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Bachelor of Arts, and Valparaiso University School of Law, Juris Doctorate. He is admitted to the Michigan and Indiana Bars and practices before State and Federal Agencies and Courts.

Terry specializes in business, bankruptcy and tax law. He is the former chair of the Business and Tax Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association and a member of the Tax Policy Committee of the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce.

Terry represented the United States Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service, for 12 years before joining the firm. Terry frequently practices in Bankruptcy Court, Federal District Court, Tax Court and the Tax Tribunal. He is experienced in Local, State and Federal tax controversies and planning.

Terry has successfully resolved criminal and civil tax disputes, bankruptcy matters, and creditor/debtor issues.
