About Colin
What types of legal issues do you help individuals and businesses resolve?
I assist clients in the areas of real estate law and business and corporate law. On a day-to-day basis, I primarily focus on the sales, acquisitions, and leasing of industrial, commercial, and warehouse properties. I also work on real estate development projects from land acquisition, due diligence, and resolution of zoning and land use issues through the end to the condominium development, administration, and disposition or leasing. Additionally, I advise closely held businesses on business planning, entity formation, and corporate governance to prepare for potential future growth or transitions.
What skills help you advise the client and achieve the best results or outcomes?
Curiosity. I find it interesting to learn new ways to achieve successful real estate transactions and developments while solving a client’s issue or concern. It is rewarding being able to listen to a client, then strategize and discover how we can come together to find a unique and creative solution to a problem.
How do any of your community interests or activities facilitate how you represent your client?
For me, one of the most formative activities of my life has been in sports. I played soccer throughout my life and competing in a team environment taught me the importance of teamwork and communication. This has certainly translated to every aspect of my life. I enjoy working with the talented team of lawyers and staff at Rhoades McKee and achieving successes together always leads to a more satisfying conclusion.
