How do you help businesses?
I assist businesses with various corporate and business transactions, including drafting policies, agreements, and governance documents, mergers and acquisitions, and other day-to-day issues that may arise for business owners.
What skills help you advise clients and achieve the best results or outcomes?
My goal is to help clients find solutions to avoid potential future conflicts. I strive to understand all the facts in a case and take the time to analyze and research the issue entirely. These are important skills for a lawyer to have to provide the best counsel and representation for their client.
What did you learn in your first year of practice that you still utilize today?
I learned that listening to every concern a client expresses allows you to address the situation appropriately and find the right solution for the legal matter. The ability to listen allows me to adequately explain to my clients the progress of their cases, leading to a better outcome for everyone.
