Rhoades McKee is pleased to announce that Timothy Dudley and G. Will Furtado were recently elected to Shareholder. With over 53 attorneys and three offices (Grand Rapids, Hastings, and Holland), the firm has grown to include forty shareholders.
Dudley concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, corporate and business, and cybersecurity and privacy. He represents business owners, commercial developers and landowners on issues regarding commercial, industrial and residential leasing, sales and acquisitions, land developments, zoning and land use issues, and condominium developments and administration. In conjunction with his real estate practice, Dudley also consults and advises closely-held businesses and entrepreneurs with myriad other transaction and operating issues including entity selection, formation, and governance as well as cybersecurity and privacy.
Dudley serves as a Board Member for Camp Blodgett and on the firm’s Information Technology Committee. A graduate of Colorado State University and Michigan State University College of Law, he is a current member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, the Urban Land Institute and the Commercial Alliance of Realtors.
Furtado concentrates his practice representing clients in state and federal courts, with a focus on general civil litigation, complex commercial litigation, and construction litigation. His experience includes representing individuals and businesses in a wide range of actions, such as breach of contract, commercial fraud, construction defect, civil theft and conversion, personal injury, and shareholder and corporate governance matters. He also represents clients in regulatory and administrative hearings, including before the Michigan Tax Tribunal, Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA), and Michigan Marijuana Regulatory Agency (MRA).
A graduate of Duke University and the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Furtado is currently a member of the American Bar Association, the Grand Rapids Bar Association Community Engagement Committee and the Foundation Committee, as well as the State Bar of Michigan.More News Posts
