Rhoades McKee represented Innovation Studios, founded by Herman Grewel, in the acquisition of 2B Studio, a design based product development organization serving mainly the furniture and health care industries. Innovation Studios will continue to operate the acquired business in its present location in Ada, Michigan.
After several years of owning and operating businesses in Ontario, Canada, Grewel has matched his interest in product design with an innovative organization that has responded quickly to market conditions, including working with local manufacturers and hobbyists to design, manufacture and distribute face masks, face shields, and other essential items during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Jon Siebers led Rhoades McKee’s transaction team in negotiating, documenting, and closing the transaction.
