Rhoades McKee is pleased to announce that Jon Siebers has been named as Chair of the firm’s Business Practice Group. As Chair, Jon is responsible for guiding business development growth and overseeing the delivery of the transactional services to the firm’s business clients.

Rhoades McKee’s Business attorneys serve as counsel to businesses large and small and advise business clients on all legal matters facing businesses and their owners, including formation, contract review and negotiation, corporate governance, financing, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, succession planning, and taxation. Unique to the firm, three of the fifteen business attorneys are also certified public accountants.

Jon joined Rhoades McKee in 2015. He is a corporate attorney with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and advising middle market and small companies as outside general counsel. In addition, Siebers is experienced with finance, securities, and real estate law. Jon was the first attorney in Michigan to become a Certified Merger and Acquisition Advisor through the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors. His peers have recognized his work throughout Michigan. He has been named a Michigan Super Lawyer®, Best Lawyers of America® (Corporate Law and Real Estate Law), a Top Lawyer by Grand Rapids Magazine (Mergers and Acquisitions Law), and honored as a Distinguished Affiliate with the Commercial Alliance of Realtors.

Jon currently serves on the Boards of ACG Western Michigan, the Michigan Business Brokers Association, and Kids Food Basket.  He is also a member of both the Grand Rapids Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan. He is a graduate of Hope College and Indiana University School of Law.
