Rhoades McKee Welcomes Chief Operating Officer

Rhoades McKee is pleased to announce that Susan Kowalski has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer.

As Chief Operating Officer, Kowalski will provide input and leadership affecting financial planning and firm growth, human resources, marketing, technology, facilities, and client service for the three Rhoades McKee law offices located in Grand Rapids, Hastings, and Holland.

Before joining Rhoades McKee, Kowalski served as the Chief Financial Officer at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, a full-service law firm with multiple locations. She was responsible for managing the accounting, finance, and tax functions of the firm. In addition to her time at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, Kowalski worked in public accounting at Ernst & Young.

A certified public accountant with over 25 years of significant legal, business, and accounting administration experience, Kowalski earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bowling Green State University.
