David E. Bevins
Mr. Bevins is a shareholder with Rhoades
McKee. His practice focuses primarily on assisting lending
institutions of all sizes in their residential and commercial
loan workout departments. As a result of this representation,
Mr. Bevins frequently appears in all federal and state
courts including federal bankruptcy court. In addition
to assisting lending institutions, Mr. Bevins has broad
experience in construction, commercial and real estate
litigation and counseling.
Mr. Bevins graduated from Western
Michigan University, cum laude, in 1990 with a B.A. He
began his studies at Wayne State University Law School
in 1990. At WSU, Mr. Bevins was active in student government,
and was a member of the Wayne State Law Review. In 1993,
he graduated cum laude from Wayne State University Law
School.
Following admission to the bar, Mr.
Bevins worked for Michigan Court of Appeals for three years.
He spent most of his time at the Court of Appeals as the
clerk for the Honorable Janet T. Neff.
Mr. Bevins currently serves on the board of Catherine's Care Center, has chaired the
Grand Rapids Bar Association Young Lawyers Section from
1998 to 1999, and has since sat on various Grand Rapids
Bar Association and State of Michigan Bar Association committees.
