Rhoades McKee is pleased to announce that David Bevins and Peter Rhoades have been named as Co-Chairs of the Creditor’s Rights Legal Team. As Co-Chairs, Bevins and Rhoades are responsible for guiding practice development and overseeing the delivery of legal services to financial institutions.
As a commercial counselor and litigation attorney, Bevins assists businesses and financial institutions in considering, negotiating and litigating complex commercial and banking transactions. His work and experience have been recognized by Best Lawyers of America and Martindale Hubbell, where he has been awarded an AV rating by his peers, the highest rating available. Bevins is an active board member of the Turnaround Management Association and numerous other nonprofit boards. A graduate of Western Michigan University and Wayne State University Law School, he is a current member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan.
Rhoades helps businesses and individuals through legal requirements for real and/or personal property transactions, including the sale, leasing, financing, or development of real property. In addition, he assists lenders and commercial borrowers structure real property and business transactions. Rhoades frequently appears in State and Federal Courts on behalf of lenders. A graduate of Hope College and the Valparaiso University School of Law, Rhoades serves as a Board Member for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Holland. He is a current member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan.
