The Grand Rapids Bar Association (GRBA), in partnership with Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Cooley Law School, will recognize Bruce Neckers and Arthur Spalding for their 50 years of service to the legal profession and the Grand Rapids Community at the GRBA Annual Meeting on May 17, 2018. Neckers and Spalding will be honored alongside nine other bar members.

In legal practice since 1969, Neckers currently concentrates his practice in mediation and arbitration in the areas of complex business litigation, employment, and commercial and personal injury litigation.  He is a member of the The American College of Trial Lawyers and he has been selected for inclusion in Chambers and Partners Leaders in Law, Best Lawyers®, and Super Lawyers.

A firm member since 1968, Spalding has extensive experience navigating condemnation, real estate, and zoning matters.  He has represented projects throughout Michigan including the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Sleeping Dunes National Lakeshore and other Federal projects. He has also served as counselor and advisor to businesses throughout West Michigan.  He has received Martindale Hubbell Highest AV® Preeminent Rating, and he has also been named a Best Lawyer®.
