Rhoades McKee is pleased to announce that Nate Russell and Andrea Snyder were recently elected as Shareholders. With over 50 attorneys and three offices (Grand Rapids, Hastings, and Holland), the firm has grown to include thirty-nine shareholders.

Nate Russell

As a business and corporate attorney, Russell assists businesses and individuals with finding practical solutions to their legal issues. He focuses his practice on general corporate services, mergers and acquisitions, hospitality and liquor law, private placement securities transactions, and business and commercial aviation transactions. Russell regularly advises clients on entity formation, preparing governance documents, drafting contracts, negotiating and closing asset sales, transitioning businesses to future generations, and transferring or obtaining liquor licenses.

A graduate of Grand Valley State University and Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Russell serves on the Programming Committee for the Association for Corporate Growth Western Michigan Region. He is a current member of the National Business Aviation Association, the Michigan Business Brokers Association, the Association for Corporate Growth Western Michigan Region, the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, the Grand Rapids Bar Association, and the State Bar of Michigan.

Andrea Snyder

A member of the Estate Planning and Administration Team, Snyder assists individuals, families, and businesses with securing the future they desire. She routinely advises clients on preparing proper estate planning documents, navigating taxes associated with an inheritance, establishing guardians and conservators for young children and incapacitated individuals, ensuring assets are passed on to future generations, and handling post-death probate and trust administration matters.

Snyder is actively involved in the West Michigan community, serving on the NextGen Board for Wedgwood Christian Services, the Event Planning Committee for Family Business Alliance, and as a Member and Past President of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan – Western Region. She is a current member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, the West Michigan Estate Planning Council, and Rockstar Woman.

Snyder earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and her law degree from the Michigan State University College of Law.
