Stephen Hulst has been elected to serve as Vice-President on the Executive Committee at Rhoades McKee for a three-year term.

Grand Rapids’ fourth-largest law firm, Rhoades McKee provides transaction and litigation legal services to corporate institutions and family-run businesses, as well as individuals with personal and family issues. As a member of the Executive Committee, Hulst joins the current leadership, Anthony Pearson and Patrick Ellis, to guide the firm’s strategic planning and direct a team of more than 85 attorneys and administrative professionals serving clients in the West Michigan community.

According to Hulst, “I have been with Rhoades McKee from day one of my legal career and have incredible respect and appreciation for the attorneys, staff, and clients that helped make this firm the special place that it is. I am truly honored to be selected by my partners to join the Executive Committee and help lead the firm over the next few years. I look forward to fostering Rhoades McKee’s culture and continuing our devotion to the clients and community we serve.”

Specializing in business, personal injury, and claims under Michigan’s No-Fault Act, Hulst is a litigator and trial attorney. He helps businesses and owners in all kinds of disputes, including those involving breach of contract, conversion and embezzlement, fraud, sales-commissions, business-valuation, and shareholder oppression. In addition, Hulst routinely represents clients in personal injury matters, including those injured in auto accidents, as well as medical providers and individuals seeking recovery under Michigan’s No-Fault Act.

Hulst is a current member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, and the Federal Bar Association.
